The Opportunity We’re hiring a Zipline Guide to join our team at The Adventure Group, one of Whistler’s most iconic destinations for outdoor adventure, adrenaline-filled experiences, and breathtaking views. Perks of the Job * $19 – $23.50 hourly wage based on experience and qualifications PLUS opportunities to earn guest tips. * 50% off food & beverage at all Gibbons venues * Adventure perks: 20% off The Adventure Group for you and your friends & family * Accommodation discounts: 20% off at The Adara Hotel and Gibbons Life Condos * Wellness perks: 20% off at The Spa at Whistler * Exclusive partner discounts at local Whistler businesses * Flexible schedules and a supportive team culture * Access to community events and staff appreciation nights * Growth opportunities in Whistler’s most dynamic hospitality group – we’re passionate about promoting from within and supporting your career journey. * Immersive work environment steps from the mountains – we take our core purpose of “Have Fun” very seriously What You Bring to the Table * Previous experience working in customer service * Previous experience working in outdoor activities and/or adventure tourism an asset * 16 hour First Aid qualification required * Valid Driver’s License * Be physically fit: able to lift up to 30lbs, be outdoors and on feet for majority of day * Positive, supportive, and respectful attitude – with both guests and team members * Flexible and adaptable – every day is different; every tour is different * Flexible to diverse working hours – early mornings, evenings, and weekends * Proven ability to communicate clearly Your Days Will Look Like * Start each shift by checking in with dispatch for daily information, ensuring uniform and equipment readiness. * Thoroughly prepare for tours, inspecting all equipment, including avalanche/fire gear and helmets. * Welcome guests warmly at Cougar, setting a positive tone for a fun and safe tour, and providing necessary information. * Ensure every guest has everything needed for tour - adequate clothing and equipment. Be aware of any signs of weather-related issues or risks. * Follow established safety, radio, and operating protocols. * Escalate issues, concerns, or problems to the supervisor or dispatch in a timely manner. * Pay attention to details, such as keeping the site clean, and assisting guests and staff. * Check staff communication channels regularly for updates and information. * Contribute to TAG's dynamic team by assisting other team members and departments as needed. Exigences
Requires a valid 16-hour First Aid qualification and a valid driver's license. Candidates must be physically fit, capable of lifting 30lbs, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and early mornings.
