The People & Culture Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of People & Culture (P&C) across JOEY Restaurant Group. Working across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Partner programs, and broader P&C initiatives, this role coordinates systems, programs, communications, training initiatives, and administrative processes while partnering with Operations and P&C teams to deliver an efficient, consistent, and exceptional experience for candidates and Partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting people and creating exceptional experiences. They are comfortable managing multiple priorities, working across different areas of the business, and continuously looking for opportunities to improve P&C programs, systems, and processes. This is an in-office role based in Vancouver, BC. Annual Compensation Range $58,000 – $75,000 / year The salary range is dependent on skill and work experience. Responsibilities Maintain P&C resources, training materials, communications, and tools, ensuring information is current, accurate, consistent, and on brand Provide coordination and administrative support for ad hoc P&C projects and initiatives across Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development Coordinate P&C systems and platforms, including the Learning Management System (LMS), P&C Help Desk, and other P&C technology, while maintaining system information, resources, and user access Coordinate Talent Acquisition systems and recruitment operations, including Applicant Tracking System (ATS) administration, job postings, job boards, candidate communications, and recruitment resources Support recruitment programs and initiatives, including hiring events, candidate surveys, referrals, and campus and community recruitment, contributing to an exceptional candidate and Operations experience Maintain P&C data, tracking, and operational reporting across recruitment, referrals, promotions, training, compliance, and other key metrics Coordinate Partner programs and initiatives, including Partner perks, JOEY Annual Leadership Awards and prizes, engagement surveys, and other Partner experience initiatives Support L&D delivery of JOEY U and other Learning & Development programs Contribute to P&C projects and the continuous improvement of systems, programs, processes, and experiences, informed by emerging trends and best practices Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Experience in P&C (Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and/or Learning & Development) administration, or related field is considered an asset Completed or currently pursuing a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is considered an asset Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail Strong technical aptitude and confidence in learning and navigating multiple systems and platforms Comfort working with data, reporting, and analytics to support informed decision-making A collaborative, service-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional Partner, candidate, and hiring manager experiences Experience with People & Culture technology, such as Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), or job boards, is considered an asset Experience leveraging AI, automation, or emerging technologies to improve workflows and processes is considered an asset Previous hospitality or customer service experience is considered an asset Benefits Extended Health, Dental, Life Insurance, Long Term Disability, and AD&D Ongoing Leadership Development Courses Enjoy 50% off Food & Beverages at any JOEY Restaurant, LOCAL Public Eatery, SALTLIK or Earls Restaurant location (some restrictions apply) Pursue personal and professional development, through a Coaching Partnership Being paired with a coach will give you ongoing support and feedback so that you are able to pursue your life goals Industry partner incentives Referral bonus programs This is about you.
