They are looking for a Retail Store Manager to establish and lead the location’s opening and growth. In this role, the Store Manager will ensure smooth operations and create an authentic, engaging experience for customers and team members. This includes driving revenue, engagement, and performance while embodying the brand’s values and mission in every interaction. Description Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example, consistently demonstrating high standards in customer service and sales aligned with the brand’s expectations. Community Engagement: Build the local customer base by engaging with the community, seeking opportunities to increase brand awareness, and sharing the brand’s story and values. Customer Satisfaction: Address concerns and complaints promptly, with a commitment to exceeding expectations. Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate the store team, exemplifying and instilling core values in every interaction. Employee Development: Coach, guide, and genuinely connect with the team, offering consistent and thoughtful feedback to promote growth. Inventory Management: Ensure inventory accuracy, oversee stock replenishment, and maintain brand standards for quality and presentation on the sales floor. Sustainable Practices: Lead sustainability initiatives, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility. Performance Metrics: Actively coach the team to meet revenue targets and performance metrics. Requirements Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 4 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably within the wellness, natural products, or beauty sector Proven track record of achieving sales targets and operational goals in a retail environment Experience in team leadership, with demonstrated skills in coaching, development, and performance management Strong understanding of inventory management, including stock control, accuracy, and merchandising standards Familiarity with community engagement and customer loyalty-building techniques Knowledge of sustainability practices and a passion for promoting environmentally responsible business practices Skills & Competencies Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to connect with customers and team members authentically Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive approach to driving business results Customer-focused mindset, with an ability to address concerns and enhance customer satisfaction Ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a positive, inclusive work environment Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions confidently and handle challenges effectively Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory software, and basic computer applications Personal Attributes Passionate about natural products, sustainability, and environmental stewardship Growth-oriented and adaptable, willing to embrace new challenges and initiatives A positive attitude, bringing energy, humour, and kindness to the workplace Willingness to “go above and beyond,” with a fearless approach to trying new ideas and improving store performance Corporate Culture If you’re a natural enthusiast with a hankering to work in a delightfully smelling, stay-on-your-toes environment and an inclusive workspace, please apply!
