Coordinate transportation and distribution activities, process SAP goods-issue and other inventory transactions, and track deliveries and stock transfers. Resolve shipment and transaction issues, produce operational reports, maintain distribution records, and provide administrative support, including occasional after-hours coverage.

Supervise production teams and coordinate daily plant operations to maintain safety, quality, efficiency, and adherence to the production schedule. Manage workplace safety incidents and compliance audits, and serve as the plant’s primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, including emergency services during critical situations.

Monitor physical and system inventory, plan deliveries by train or truck, process receiving and transfer documents, and conduct physical counts of raw materials. Follow up on orders and deliveries, coordinate supplier corrective actions for non-conformities, and comply with environmental and safety policies.

Support maintenance and operations teams with preventive and corrective mechanical work, including repairs to production equipment, buildings, facilities, and site infrastructure. Troubleshoot equipment failures, maintain production equipment availability, operate and maintain a Class 4 boiler, and contribute to machine safety while following workplace safety requirements.

Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability, availability, performance, and service life while optimizing maintenance costs. Analyze failures and maintenance KPIs, support mechanical maintenance teams, maintain technical documentation, and contribute to equipment improvement and investment projects while promoting safe work practices.

Lead the overall logistics operations at the Gatineau plants, including receiving, warehousing, supply to operations, shipping, and inventory accuracy. Develop and mobilize supervisors and teams, improve productivity and service through performance analysis and continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and applicable management systems.
