Job Title: Senior Specialist, HR Business Partner Job Location: Mirabel, QC Job Code: 40844 Job Schedule: Day Shift Compensation Range: Between $70,000 - $120,000 CDN annually Working from Mirabel and reporting directly to the Director, HR Business Partner, the Senior Specialist, HR Business Partner is responsible for providing strategic and operation support to the managers and employees of its various customer groups. You will function as a trusted advisor with all aspects of Human Resources, including Labor and Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Training and focus on Law and Benefits. Essential Functions: Provide advice and coaching to executives and managers in the resolution of their human resources management issues, as well as in the development of their management skills. Conduct HR interventions adapted to business needs and the human aspects of operational issues. Provide advice and expertise on working conditions and labor relations. Work in close collaboration with your expert colleagues in the HR department to provide support to your customer in staffing, compensation, training, and Benefits. Act as a change agent to support managers in the various organizational transformations they are implementing. Implement various initiatives to improve HR measures, practices and policies. Interpret and administer collective bargaining agreement. Manage grievance procedures in a timely and effective manner to ensure speedy resolution of employee problems or concerns. Qualifications: University Degree (Industrial Relations or other related program). CHRP Designation an asset. 9 years’ HR/Labor Relations experience in a unionized or non-unionized environment. Experience in a manufacturing/aircraft maintenance environment is an asset. In depth knowledge of the Canada’s Labor Code, Human Rights Act and Employment Equity Act. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a face-paced environment. Persuasive communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills. Proven problem identification and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and record keeping skills. Strong Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel). Knowledge of HR Systems (PeopleSoft, SAP, SuccessFactors) is an asset. Bilingual in French and English. Eligibility Criteria: Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program; Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance; Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Exigences
Requires a university degree in Industrial Relations or a related field and at least 9 years of HR/Labor Relations experience. Must be bilingual in French and English and eligible for specific Canadian government security clearances and ITAR requirements.
