You will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team composed of administrative staff, nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse practitioners, family physicians, and medical specialists. We invite you to consult the following link: https://cliniquesmedicaleslacroix.com/fr/equipe/ Main Responsibilities Clinical Assessment and Management Conduct a complete health assessment (medical history, physical examination). Establish diagnoses and develop treatment plans. Prescribe necessary tests (laboratory, imaging). Interpret results and adjust treatments. Monitor chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, COPD, ongoing mental health, etc.). Prescriptions and Interventions Prescribe medications, Treatments and care according to the standards of the OIIQ and the MSSS. Perform certain procedures: sutures, foreign body removal, minor drainage, etc. Administer vaccinations and perform preventive interventions. Interdisciplinary Coordination and Collaboration Collaborate closely with family physicians, other nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and other professionals. Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and continuous improvement activities. Patient Education and Support Advise patients and their families on treatments and lifestyle habits. Provide preventative care: smoking cessation, obesity prevention, screening, sexual health, etc. Documentation and Compliance Rigorous documentation of interventions in the patient's file. Adherence to clinical protocols, professional standards, and legal requirements. Required Skills Technical Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills. Excellent command of primary care protocols. Ability to prescribe compliantly and safely. Interpersonal Clear, empathetic, and professional communication. Person-centered approach. Excellent teamwork skills Interdisciplinary. Organizational Autonomy and sound clinical judgment. Effective time and priority management. Comfortable in a constantly evolving environment. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Master of Science in Nursing – Primary Care Nurse Practitioner training. Passed the OIIQ/CMQ certification exam. Member in good standing of the OIIQ.
