This role sits within Laurentian Bank. The incumbent will play an active role in the preparation of actual, forecasted, and budgeted financial reports. The Analyst will also serve as a financial business partner in the management of the Group’s strategic initiatives. This team acts as a trusted advisor to senior management and business line executives, responding to their financial analysis and reporting needs. Responsibilities Maintains and updates the assumptions used in budgeting and forecasting models. Participates in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, as well as in the preparation of financial analyses for designated business sectors. Prepares monthly financial reports and contributes to variance analysis, as required. Operates financial analysis models and analyzes the resulting outputs. Contributes to the preparation of financial analyses and other strategic initiatives. Assists in the development of new profitability measurement tools. Supports the maintenance of the accounting structure within the business line profitability system to ensure alignment with organizational needs. Participates in the development and documentation of policies and procedures related to accounting operations and control activities. Qualifications University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage tight deadlines. Proactive, self-motivated, and strong problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
