*We are looking specifically for a Red Seal Industrial Mechanic to seamlessly join our team and mentor apprentices. * Ledwidge Lumber is a family-owned sawmill in Enfield, producing high-quality lumber products sustainably. As a Red Seal Industrial Mechanic with us, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process and also mentor apprentices. Duties: - Perform maintenance and repair tasks on industrial machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality - Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner - Use your expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, preventative maintenance to maintain equipment efficiency - Analyze equipment performance through inspections and testing, making necessary adjustments for peak performance - Collaborate with the maintenance team to address complex issues and implement preventive maintenance strategies - Interpret schematics and work with industrial electricians to install, repair, or replace components as needed - Familiarity with logic controllers to program and troubleshoot automated systems Requirements: - Proven experience as a Red Seal Industrial Mechanic - Proficiency in hydraulics, motors, automation an asset - Ability to analyze technical problems and provide effective solutions - Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and safety regulations - Familiarity with logic controllers and interpreting schematics At Ledwidge Lumber Company Ltd., we offer a supportive work environment where employees are valued.
