About Lifemark Keefer Place, located in Vancouver, British Columbia Our Lifemark Keefer clinic is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation centre located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Conveniently situated near Stadium–Chinatown SkyTrain Station and just steps from International Village and Gastown, our clinic is easily accessible by public transit and surrounded by some of Vancouver's best restaurants, cafés, and shops. Serving the community for over 20 years, our clinic is home to a large interdisciplinary team of clinicians who provide comprehensive rehabilitation services. We are recognized for our expertise in occupational rehabilitation, mental health services, and concussion care. Our team includes an industry-leading vestibular therapist and specialized concussion clinicians who support these programs. We support a diverse client population through WorkSafeBC, ICBC, LTD, PCVRS, and employer-funded programs. Your impact The successful candidate will possess the ability to perform ergonomic assessments, POET’s, work hardening and facilitating FCE’s. This position will provide the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of clinicians, as well as provide exposure to complex occupational rehab cases. Our KINs provide both individual and program-based treatments and assessments for individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries. They also play a pivotal role in supporting veterans, Canadian Armed Forces members, first responders, and individuals facing physical, cognitive and mental wellness goals. In this role, you will: * Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist. * Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs. * Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing. * Record functional and subjective findings in client charts regularly. * Responsible for the marketing and growth of the kinesiology department through analysis of the stakeholders to create a strategic marketing plan with the assistance of the clinic director. * Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals. * Conduct group orientation and education lectures, and regular one-on-one education to clients. * Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge. * Ensure return-to-work plans with the client and employer have been made and documented in the client's chart.
