Job Title: Line Setup Job Summary Overseeing line setup, equipment operation, and team coordination. This role supports the Production Supervisor by leading day-to-day production activities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring production targets are met. Responsibility * Oversee the setup, operation, and changeover of production lines, ensuring all equipment is prepared and running efficiently. * Support production line operations to achieve daily targets related to quality, output, and safety, with responsibilities for leading and coordinating team members where required by facility-specific expectations * Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting equipment issues, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime. * Communicate closely with the Production Supervisor to report online performance, challenges, and progress toward goals. * Assist in training and guiding new team members to ensure they are well-prepared to meet production requirements. * Maintain accurate production records, reporting any discrepancies or issues promptly to the Production Supervisor. * Monitor and perform tool/insert changes. * Review and perform adjustments for in-process parts according to CMM results. * Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company standards, actively promoting a safe working environment. Academic/Educational Requirements * Secondary school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset. Required Skills/Experience * 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on experience in line setup and equipment operation. * Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Solid understanding of production processes, machinery, and troubleshooting techniques. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with both team members and supervisors. * Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines while maintaining safety and quality standards.
