Job Description We have 1 position available for a Stock Room Clerk on dayshift which works a 4x10 shift Monday-Thursday, the hours will be 7:00- 17:30. Wages up to $31.25 based on experience and qualifications The Stock Room Clerk ensures that the parts requirements are accurately identified, recorded, and inventoried within the maintenance system to meet maintenance safety, operational, and Driver needs. The Stock Room Clerk is also expected to be a team player in the maintenance department and communicate effectively with mechanics, drivers, and outside vendors. Ensure warranty claims are opened for all warrantable parts Ensure all warranty parts are tagged and stored in the appropriate location Work with local vendors and/or other company maintenance facilities to ensure parts are in stock and/or ordered prior to equipment arriving for PM service and/or repairs Ensure part cores are returned and processed according to procedure at the time of repair to ensure proper credits are received Inventory management - daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts to ensure our parts inventory is accurate, live & current Daily receiving & processing of all parts Barcoding of all parts received and ensuring they are stored properly within the local inventory and/or Special Order parts shelf Daily review of all special order parts on hand to ensure we are not carrying unnecessary inventory for >30 days and/or longer Create purchase orders for miscellaneous items in AP Scanning. Process parts invoices in Enrich and scan and upload invoices into MTDirect. Process Fleet Charge invoices in Enrich and MTDirect, while cross-referencing in Fleet Charge to make sure all invoices are completed biweekly Marks and stores parts in the stockroom according to the prearranged system. Maintains stockroom cleanliness and order Deals with salespersons on a daily basis. Arranges parts deliveries/pick up from vendors Adheres to our QPM, ISO & our Health & Safety regulations at all times All other duties as assigned by the Service Manager Qualifications To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
