Ecommerce and Mobile App Techno-Functional Lead

About the Role We're looking for a hands-on, technically grounded Techno-Functional eCommerce and mobile app Lead to drive our mobile app's next strategic business acceleration initiatives. This is a highly visible, high-impact role for someone who wants to be in the details, shaping architecture/solution decisions, and translating business needs into a mobile and digital experience that genuinely changes how customers shop in our stores. You'll lead the technical and functional roadmap for turning our customer-facing native mobile app into a true in-store companion that make the shopping trip smoother and more personalized. It's a senior individual contributor / techno-functional lead position for someone who wants to stay close to the functional, and engineering to delivery outcome. Relevant Experience 10–15 years of experience in mobile app development, with real hands-on experience across both iOS and Android not just oversight. Proven experience leading eCommerce, omnichannel and digital experience initiatives. A track record of leading in-store digital experience or similar omni-channel initiatives at a retailer is preferable Strong technical fluency: you can review code, discuss architecture, and push back (respectfully) on technical decisions when needed. Experience working functionally across Product, Engineering, QA, and PMO to drive a mobile initiative from concept to delivery. Comfort managing and mentoring offshore development teams, with the patience and clarity to lead through influence, not just authority. Excellent listening and observation skills someone who can sit in a room, absorb what stakeholders need, and translate that into a clear execution plan. A collaborative, grounded style this role carries real influence, so we're looking for someone who leads through credibility and trust. Strong communication skills, able to flex between technical depth and functional clarity depending on the audience. Experience partnering across Product, Engineering, QA, PMO, and business teams to deliver large-scale mobile solutions. Ability to balance business objectives, customer experience, and technical feasibility. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong technical depth in mobile application architecture, design patterns, APIs, and platform capabilities. Demonstrated ability to be in every room to be the glue, guide technical decisions, and influence architecture direction and drive the delivery outcome.

Lead the technical and functional roadmap for a native mobile app to enhance the in-store customer shopping experience. Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams to drive the delivery of strategic digital initiatives.

Requires 10-15 years of hands-on experience in iOS and Android development with a strong background in retail omnichannel initiatives. Must possess deep technical fluency in mobile architecture and the ability to mentor offshore development teams.
