This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in various dental specialties such as pediatrics and orthodontics is a plus. *Duties* * Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. * Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. * Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office. * Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and maintaining inventory of dental supplies. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care. *Requirements* * Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred. * Proficiency in dental software (Open Dental) is highly desirable. * Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. * Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment. * Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred but not mandatory. * A commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
