Where You’ll Add Value This role is primary responsible for maintaining the flow of inquiries received, and for providing administrative support to the office to ensure that a superior level of co-operation, service and support is provided to residents, ensuring that Morguard is the landlord of choice. How You’ll Make a Difference Ensures that a superior level of co-operation, service and support is provided to residents, thereby ensuring that Morguard is a landlord of choice Maintains good resident-landlord relations Greets all customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring eye contact and a welcoming smile Responds to resident inquiries regarding their account, lease or other general queries. Escalates to the Regional Administrator where appropriate Ensures every customer is addressed, assisted and directed to the right department Answers the telephone as per Morguard standards and responds to incoming inquiries in a professional, friendly manner Exhibits enthusiasm when interacting with customers, vendors, and all staff Ensures all areas of the office are maintained in a professional and clean manner Manages all aspects of incoming and outgoing mail, including coordination of couriers (incoming & outgoing) and date stamps all received documentation. Processes resident payments of rent, parking and any other additional fees Ensures ROD is complete and free from errors Ensures customers are directed to the right person or department Other administrative duties as assigned The Expertise You’ll Bring Completion of High School or general education degree (GED) 1 year of experience in an office environment at a busy reception desk Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience in a customer service role would be an asset Exposure to the Property Management Industry would an asset Core Competencies A commitment to "Best in Class" customer service Excellent customer service skills Exceptionally organized and detail oriented Ability to accurately listen, understand and respond to issues appropriately Ability to work and act independently using good judgment when assessing difficult situations Self-motivated individual with a “can-do” and a strong commitment to teamwork Superior time management skills with ability to multi-task/prioritize and work under tight timelines A demonstrated high degree of integrity, diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality Excellent problem-solving capabilities A professional demeanor with strong communication skills Ability to speak other languages is considered an asset. Annualized Base Salary Range: $38,000 - $43,000 Pay Equity The salary range listed for this position reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered may vary and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, skills, certifications, internal pay equity and business needs.
