Labourer/Machine Operator

With this expansion comes an exciting opportunity—we're looking for an experienced Labourer/Machine Operator to join our collaborative team. Reporting to the shop supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting in daily shop operations, operating machinery, and supporting production teams to ensure efficient workflow. Responsibilities/Tasks Assist with the setup up of basic fabrication Accurate use of tape measure, square, levels, angle finder and other measuring tools related to specific area (in both Metric & Imperial) Operate basic hand tools i.e. drills, grinders, etc. Operate shop equipment i.e. drill press, ironworker, punch, shear, brake, blasting machine, saw, etc. as required and as trained to do so Safe operation of overhead crane and mobile equipment for material movement as required Maintain and perform basic servicing of machines as required per pre-use inspection check sheets Perform housekeeping duties as required This job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties. Candidates must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and possess a strong understanding of measurements and metal materials. The role requires physical fitness, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
