Newrest Toronto is hiring PURCHASING COORDINATOR Are you looking for a new challenge leading operations in a busy and diverse unit? Are you ready for hot summers and cold winters in the vibrant city of Toronto? Main Responsibilities Manage food and non-food purchasing by overseeing the entire ordering process, from sourcing to delivery. Participate in negotiations with service providers and suppliers, ensuring contract drafting and compliance with terms. Develop and reference new suppliers to optimize product costs and quality. Analyze market opportunities. Contribute to optimizing the multi-site organization by controlling risks and reducing procurement lead times and costs. Identify areas for improvement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimal operational monitoring. Monitoring, guidance and support for procurement processes. Conduct procurement audits and promote best practices within the team. Serve as the point of contact for updating and managing the procurement catalog (suppliers and ERP), while overseeing the purchasing and procurement processes. Degree in operations management, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar position, ideally in the airline industry. Proficiency in computer tools. Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) required. Negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to analyze complex data to make informed decisions and improve processes. Ability to effectively communicate data analysis results to various audiences. Exigences
