About The Role The Room Attendant & Server is a dual-role position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of guest accommodations and common areas, while also delivering exceptional dining service. This role supports smooth resort operations by upholding high standards in both housekeeping and food & beverage service. Key Responsibilities Clean guest rooms, washrooms, laundry rooms, and common areas following sanitation procedures. Change linens, replenish amenities, complete laundry tasks, and maintain organized housekeeping spaces. Report maintenance issues and prepare rooms for arriving guests, including labeling guest items. Greet guests, assist with luggage during arrivals/departures, and support a positive guest experience. Serve meals, explain dishes, sell items, and accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. Set up, reset, and maintain dining areas; polish glassware and restock service stations. Prepare beverages, cocktails, and maintain wine, coffee, and water service. Ensure food safety, sanitation standards, and clean dining room areas. Communicate guest needs, seating numbers, and service timing with the Chef and FOH Lead. Monitor guest satisfaction, respond promptly to requests, and maintain presentation standards. Qualifications Required Legally entitled to work in Canada High school diploma or equivalent Serving It Right certification Previous experience in Serving and/or Housekeeping Attention to detail and strong work ethic WHMIS certification Preferred OFA1 (Occupational First Aid Level 1) Previous serving and housekeeping experience in a resort, fine dining, or hospitality setting.
