Required Qualifications and Experience Valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification Bachelor of Education - Junior High Desired Experience and Attributes Professional development in literacy and numeracy Experience teaching literacy and numeracy Know, respond to, and engage all students. The teacher is responsible for supporting student learning and achievement at South Queens Middle School by implementing high-quality, culturally responsive instruction. They must maintain a safe and positive learning environment while meeting the diverse academic and personal needs of all students.

Candidates must hold a valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification and a Bachelor of Education degree with a focus on Junior High. Applicants are expected to demonstrate knowledge of literacy and numeracy instruction and a commitment to professional development.
