Component Technician Location: Abbotsford, BC Alliance Truss, part of the All‑Fab Group of Companies, is looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Component Technician to join our production team. In this hands‑on role, you will support the manufacturing of high‑quality roof and floor truss components by preparing, cutting, and assembling materials according to engineered drawings. Key Responsibilities * Work with the Team Leader to set up the workstation for each order. * Assemble trusses according to company procedures, SWOP, and Team Leader instructions. * Inspect materials, equipment, and completed work regularly; report any issues promptly. * Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift, including end‑of‑day cleanup. * Operate all tools, equipment, and machinery safely, correctly, and responsibly. * Perform additional duties as required to support production and team operations. Experience * Woodworking or construction experience required. * Ability to use a hammer and read a tape measure (foot‑inch‑sixteenth method). * Experience reading and understanding work orders. Knowledge & Abilities * Strong verbal and written English communication skills. * Team‑oriented, cooperative, and supportive. * Detail‑oriented, accurate, and committed to safe work practices. * Able to prioritize tasks and work productively in a fast‑paced team environment. * Willingness to learn new skills and participate actively in team huddles. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Proactive mindset with a desire to improve processes, the department, and personal performance.
