The Role, Your Impact Responsibilities Reporting to the Production Manager, the incumbent is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring all production activities related to the department to which they are assigned. More specifically, the main challenges of the role include: Coordinating production activities; Ensuring the efficient use of labor and equipment; Taking actions to achieve operational efficiency goals; Ensuring compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and regulations; Monitoring and improving departmental performance and effectiveness; Applying and enforcing health and safety regulations; Applying and ensuring compliance with HACCP and SQF programs; Participating in continuous improvement committees and initiatives. Your Strengths for the Position 2 to 3 years of experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in a manufacturing environment (unionized environment considered an asset), or equivalent experience; Education in administration, production, or personnel management would be an asset; Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel); Ability to build strong professional and interpersonal relationships; Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated listening abilities; Solution-oriented mindset focused on problem-solving and continuous improvement; Strong planning and organizational skills; Demonstrates a high level of professional integrity and ethics.
