Executive Assistant Type: Full Time Hourly Wage: $25-30/hr based on experience Company: The Ontario Flue-Cured Tobacco Growers Marketing Board represents flue-cured tobacco growers in the province of Ontario. The Board functions as a liaison between government, growers and stakeholders by representing grower interests. POSITION OVERVIEW: At the Ontario Flue-Cured Tobacco Growers' Marketing Board, this role offers the opportunity to shape and strengthen key administrative functions. We are looking for a self-motivated, independent and adaptable Executive Assistant who can bring strong organizational skills, initiative, and professionalism to support the Board's work effectively. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping the organization operate smoothly by providing high-quality administrative support and anticipating the needs of the Board. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Organize and execute the Annual General Meeting -Implement a method for invoicing and collection of annual growers' fees -Update and review board bylaws -Communicate and liaise with The Ontario Farm Products Marketing Commission -Distribute and Maintain Grower Communication -Record and maintain Board Meeting minutes and other documents as required by Ontario Legislation -Manage the operational budget-reviewing invoices, issuing payment -Update and maintain the Board's website -Perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the team and organization, including occasional cross-functional support. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES: -Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an administrative/professional support function -Post-secondary degree in related field of study -Excellent written and oral communication skills -Detail Oriented -Proficient with computer software programs, web-based management and AI -Self-sufficient and independent problem-solver We are an equal opportunity employer.
