DIRECTOR OF TAX FULL-TIME DOWNTOWN TORONTO Our client is a highly respected private advisory firm serving a select group of affluent clientele. They provide integrated guidance across tax, planning, governance, and broader financial matters through a collaborative, relationship-driven model. You will be stepping into a rare hybrid role that blends advanced tax leadership with trusted relationship management responsibilities, supporting a sophisticated client base and partnering closely with senior leadership. Reviewing personal, corporate, trust, partnership, and charitable entity filings prepared by internal team members to ensure a seamless experience for your clients. Overseeing compliance workflows, managing deadlines, coordinating audits, and guiding responses to tax authority matters. Participation in client meetings to build trusted relationships, and help navigate sensitive matters involving succession, family dynamics, and changing circumstances. What you bring to the job You will come with strong technical tax credentials, polished communication skills, and the ability to build confidence with both colleagues and clients.
