Staying current on legislative changes and proactively identifying potential organizational impacts. What You Bring 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a consultative HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, Employee Relations, or HR Consultant role. Extensive knowledge of Ontario employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and related employment laws. Demonstrated experience handling complex employee relations matters with confidence and discretion. Strong understanding of performance management, investigations, accommodation, disability management, and termination processes. Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain complex legislation in practical, easy-to-understand language. Strong influencing and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with excellent judgment. Who You Are You're someone people naturally trust. You don't rush to provide an answer—you ask thoughtful questions, assess risk, and provide practical recommendations grounded in legislation and best practices. You remain calm during difficult conversations, handle confidential matters with professionalism, and have the confidence to challenge thinking when necessary. You're humble enough to listen, experienced enough to advise, and confident enough to guide leaders through some of their most difficult employee situations. Why You'll Love This Opportunity This is more than a traditional HR role—it's an opportunity to become the trusted advisor leaders rely on every day. You'll work on meaningful employee issues, influence organizational decisions, and make a real impact on workplace culture while partnering with an experienced leadership team that values strategic HR expertise.
