This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in Saskatchewan while strengthening existing customer relationships through a high standard of customer service. DAY TO DAY * Expand New-Life Mills market share in feed sales by prospecting and developing new customers. * Promote the programs and services offered by New-Life Mills in a manner that highlights the benefits to the producer and work with producers to create viable solutions for their business needs. * Identify and monitor reoccurrence of business needs to determine trends and rising business opportunities. * Anticipate future business needs by using proactive measures and fostering and developing customer relationships. * Develop budgets, forecasts, and strategies to meet sales targets. * Create customer plans, weekly sales plans and efficiently create new weekly call planners and call sheet reports. * Utilize MS Sales CRM platform to record account interactions, collaborate with other teams in service of customers and to assist in moving prospects thru the sales funnel. * Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers and with industry partners. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: * Possess a valid Canadian Full Class 5 Driver’s License in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during your employment. * Post Secondary Education in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agribusiness, or related field or equivalent experience. * Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. * Self-motivated individual with strong commitment toward delivering quality service. * Effective team player with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. * Strong analytical and mathematic skills with a desire to learn.
