HUMAN RESOURCES REPRESENTATIVE (12-MONTH MATERNITY LEAVE CONTRACT) * Location: New Westminster, BC (Quayside) * Salary: $50,000 – $55,000 per year * Term: Full-Time, 12-Month Maternity Leave Contract (with the option to extend) | Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) WHY THIS ROLE? We are looking for a Human Resources Representative who is ready to be the heartbeat of our team for a 12-month contract, with the potential for extension. Located at our beautiful Quayside office in New Westminster, you won't just be "processing paperwork"—you will be a champion for the employee experience, a trusted advisor to our staff, and a key player in our HR digital transformation. THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE As our HR Representative, you will balance operational excellence with high-touch employee support. Your day-to-day will include: * Employee Advocacy: Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, providing clear guidance on policies, benefits, and the employee lifecycle. * Systems & Innovation: Take the lead on HRIS management. If you have experience with SAP SuccessFactors, you’ll be our internal expert as we maintain data integrity and compliance. * The First Impression: Own the documentation and coordination that ensures our new hires have a seamless, "best-in-class" onboarding experience. * Operational Synergy: Partner closely with Payroll to ensure seamless data flow regarding leaves, schedules, and compensation updates. * Strategic Projects: Get involved in the fun stuff—from employee engagement initiatives and team-building events to modernizing our internal HR processes. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM We are looking for a proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. * Education: A Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Business. * Experience: At least 2 years of progressive HR experience. You should have a solid grasp of BC Employment Standards and Human Rights legislation. * Tech Savvy: You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office. Direct experience with SAP HRIS or SuccessFactors is a significant asset. * Professionalism: You handle confidential data with the utmost discretion and possess a "solutions-first" mindset. * Credentials: A CPHR designation (or being in pursuit of one) is a definite plus.
