Assistant Designer

Our client, a well-established and fast-growing Montreal-based women's fashion brand known for its elegant, occasion wear and strong North American presence, is looking for a motivated Assistant Designer to join their creative team. This is a great opportunity to work closely with experienced designers and gain hands-on exposure to the full product development cycle. Responsibilities Support the design team in developing seasonal collections from concept to production Create technical sketches and flats using Adobe Illustrator Assist in preparing mood boards, color palettes, and trend research Edit and enhance images and presentation materials using Photoshop Maintain and update design charts, line sheets, and costing tools in Excel Organize samples, fabrics, trims, and design files Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, sales, and merchandising Assist in fittings and follow up on design revisions Requirements: Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for women's fashion and current trends
