About the Opportunity ProxyLink is looking for an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to support one of our government clients in Scarborough, Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior project professional who brings strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex projects in a government environment. Key Responsibilities Lead government projects from initiation through successful completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables. Coordinate cross-functional teams, government stakeholders, vendors, consultants, and external partners. Establish and maintain strong project governance, reporting, documentation, and communication practices. Provide regular project status updates, dashboards, briefings, and reports to senior leadership and government stakeholders. Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints. Develop mitigation and contingency strategies to keep projects on track. Manage project scope, requirements, timelines, resources, and change requests. Facilitate project meetings, workshops, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder reviews. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior government stakeholders and project partners. Ensure project deliverables meet established quality, compliance, security, and organizational requirements. Monitor project budgets, expenditures, resource allocation, and financial forecasts. Manage vendors, contractors, procurement activities, and third-party deliverables where applicable. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, decision logs, status reports, and governance materials. Escalate critical issues appropriately and provide leadership with clear recommendations and options. Ensure effective transition and handover of completed projects to operational teams. Lead project closeout activities, including lessons learned, final reporting, and documentation. Promote accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications & Experience PMP certification is required. Significant experience managing complex projects, preferably within government or public-sector environments. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, risk management, budgeting, and change management. Experience working with senior executives, government stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and competing stakeholder requirements. Strong documentation and reporting skills. Experience with project management and collaboration tools, including Microsoft 365. Ability to work independently while providing effective leadership to project teams. Strong understanding of confidentiality, accountability, and professional standards expected when working on government initiatives. Why Join ProxyLink? Competitive contract rate of $100–$120/hour.
