Immediate need for a talented Senior Mobile Developer - Android. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Toronto, ON (Onsite). Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin. Build scalable and maintainable applications using Android SDK and modern Android architecture. Develop responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces following Material Design principles. Work with Jetpack components, including View Model, Live Data, Room, Navigation, and Work Manager. Implement modern UI using Jetpack Compose. Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into Android applications. Work with JSON, authentication, push notifications, and third-party SDK/API integrations. Implement MVVM / Clean Architecture and appropriate design patterns. Write clean, reusable, testable, and well-documented code. Develop unit tests and UI tests and work closely with QA to resolve defects. Troubleshoot performance issues, crashes, memory leaks, and other production issues. Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. Ensure applications meet security, performance, scalability, and usability requirements. Support application releases through Google Play Store and CI/CD pipelines.
