Position: Quality Control Supervisor Location: Brantford Salary: $35 - $40 per hour Job Type: 4-month contract to start, with strong potential for extension Posting Type: Open vacancy Are you a hands-on Quality Control professional ready to take the lead in a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment? As Quality Control Supervisor, you'll have a high-impact opportunity to lead daily lab operations, drive quality and compliance, and ensure critical testing supports production timelines. This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. You'll work cross-functionally with QA, Manufacturing, and R&D while leading investigations, audit readiness, process improvements, and team development. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations of the Quality Control laboratory, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance - Coordinate and prioritize testing across stability, raw materials, packaging, bulk, and finished products - Lead the release of raw materials and packaging components - Manage laboratory investigations, including OOS and deviations, ensuring timely closure - Support product and material complaint investigations in partnership with Quality Assurance - Develop, review, and approve SOPs and laboratory documentation - Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, FDA, Health Canada, and data integrity standards - Maintain audit readiness and a continual state of compliance - Drive process improvements, KPIs, and efficiency initiatives within the lab - Oversee training, inventory, equipment maintenance, and lab safety - Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, QA, and R&D - Support analytical method and cleaning validations What You Bring: - Experience in a Quality Control laboratory within a regulated environment - Strong knowledge of cGMP and applicable regulatory standards - Hands-on experience managing OOS investigations and deviations - Proven ability to lead, prioritize, and operate in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and process-driven mindset - Experience supporting audits, validations, and continuous improvement initiatives Please send your resume in Word format to Angela Quinlan at [email protected].
