Quality Control Manager Our Calgary-based client, a respected Western Canadian industrial construction company, is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead and enhance its corporate quality program. Supporting pipeline, facility, and fabrication projects throughout Alberta and British Columbia, this role requires strong technical expertise, field experience, and proven leadership skills. The position involves approximately 20–25% travel to project sites across Alberta and British Columbia. Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To Lead and manage the company-wide Quality Control program, ensuring compliance with regulatory, client, and industry requirements. Oversee QC Leads/Supervisors and field quality personnel across multiple projects. Conduct audits, manage non-conformances, and drive corrective actions. Ensure consistent quality standards across pipeline, facility, and fabrication projects. Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, clients, and regulators to address quality requirements and resolve issues. Your strengths include: 5+ years of QC leadership experience in industrial construction, preferably within a contractor environment. Experience in pipeline, facility, and/or fabrication construction projects. Strong knowledge of piping, welding, weld procedures, and applicable construction codes and standards. Minimum Level 2 Welding Inspector certification required; NACE/AMPP and Red Seal credentials are assets. Proven leadership, accountability, communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
