Turf Care ~ Wintergreen Golf & Country Club You have a passion for working outdoors and the environment. Your day starts off early but finishes early so that you can enjoy the summer afternoons. You take pride in helping to maintain the Wintergreen golf course property, knowing that your efforts contribute to providing our guests and members with the best vacation and recreational experience possible. You Will Mow greens, tee’s, aprons, collars and rough Rake bunkers, divot repair, sodding and plugging Assist with bunker maintenance including: trimming, filling of sand, and edging Maintain ball washers, garbage’s & washrooms Operate push mowers and hand trimmers Assist with cart path maintenance Be responsible for equipment washing and assist with maintenance Perform course cleanup: General handwork including: raking, shoveling, sweeping, blowing, etc. Gain knowledge of the golf course layout to ensure duties can be carried out safely and without disruption to players. Wear the required safety equipment and clothing necessary for specific tasks or weather conditions Complete our Health and Safety training requirements and follow safe operating procedures to a T! You Work great in a team and have the ability to provide assistance to co-workers when able to do so. Have excellent communication skills. Have the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Are able to stand for long periods of time, performing physical job duties such as raking, trimming, shoveling, lifting and are able to work in all weather conditions. Possess a valid Canadian Work Permit. Position Details Full time seasonal positions available. Early morning hours starting at 6am in the summer. Weekend and weekday hours. The seasonal position is from August until mid-October (golf season). Maintain the golf course property by mowing greens, tees, and roughs, and performing bunker maintenance. Responsibilities also include equipment cleaning, course cleanup, and ensuring a high-quality experience for guests and members.

Candidates must be able to perform strenuous physical labor in all weather conditions and work early morning shifts. A valid Canadian Work Permit is required.
