Our client is a leading organization in the HVAC distribution industry, serving customers across North America through a robust network of branches, digital platforms, and eCommerce solutions. As part of ongoing investments in its digital and customer-facing technology ecosystem, the organization is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the team on a 12-month remote contract. This role will focus on developing and enhancing modern web applications, APIs, and digital commerce experiences that support customers and internal business operations. The ideal candidate is a strong full stack developer with experience across Next.js, Node.js, GraphQL, and PHP, and is comfortable owning projects from design through implementation. This is a fully remote position where success requires someone who is self-directed, curious, resourceful, and capable of delivering high-quality work with minimal oversight. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js, Node.js, GraphQL, and PHP Build and optimize GraphQL APIs to support customer-facing applications and internal systems Develop backend services and integrations that enable reliable data exchange across multiple platforms Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver intuitive digital experiences Contribute across the full technology stack, supporting both front-end and back-end development initiatives Participate in solution design, technical architecture discussions, and implementation planning Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application performance and scalability issues Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following development best practices Conduct code reviews and contribute to overall code quality standards Support enhancements and modernization efforts across existing applications and digital commerce platforms Work effectively within an agile development environment while managing priorities independently Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in full stack software development Strong hands-on experience with Next.js Strong backend development experience using Node.js Experience building and maintaining GraphQL APIs Professional experience working with PHP Solid understanding of modern JavaScript and/or TypeScript development Experience designing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL-based services Strong understanding of front-end development principles and responsive web applications Experience working on customer-facing web applications or digital platforms Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables in a remote environment Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
