Business Systems Analyst

Job Description The Business System Analyst is responsible for reporting, data integrity, and testing to ensure security of data and compliance in terms of system functionality. This role is a subject matter expert on our dispatch systems, and internal reporting tools. Responsibilities Configure, manage, maintain, and continuously improve the business application in support of business process Ensure that all applicable system features and functionality are leveraged Provide subject matter knowledge and problem-solving abilities Manage environment to ensure integrity, performance, accessibility, and recoverability of data. Day to Day monitoring and reporting on the use and utilization of and the quality of the data within the system Supports application life cycle work which can include patching, upgrades, testing, etc. Develop and deliver user training In-house, first level support to resolve application or data issues Develop and deliver ad hoc reporting in support of user community and leadership Work with visual analytics tools to produce insight from operational system Qualifications Undergraduate Degree preferred 2-5 years of relevant experience Super user of Cognos and TMW Demonstrates high attention to detail Ability to multitask and pivot from one initiative to the next Can manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Must be team oriented and an independent self-starter Experience in Transportation & Logistics Industry would be considered an asset

The Business Systems Analyst manages and improves business applications, focusing on data integrity, reporting, and system functionality. They provide subject matter expertise on dispatch systems and deliver user training and first-level support.

Candidates should have 2-5 years of relevant experience and be super users of Cognos and TMW. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with experience in the transportation and logistics industry.
