Northland Properties' Construction & Design Team is seeking a Project Procurement Coordinator to support our expanding Hotel, Restaurant and Resorts brands. What will you be responsible for? Procurement Coordination Conduct material take offs from drawings/blueprints. Working with the Procurement Team Source, purchase, and coordinate the movement of construction materials. Ensure competitive quotes for material purchases and subcontract agreements, striving for cost compliance and accuracy. Coordinate and negotiate the issuance of contracts and purchase orders to vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors. Compile, verify, and approve vendor invoices, aligning them with agreed pricing and scope of work. Collaborate with design, architectural, and mechanical teams to ensure timely and accurate specification and ordering of the correct materials. Attend and lead weekly project status meetings. Site Coordination Assist in creating and implementing construction schedules within budget parameters, workforce levels, material quantities, equipment and requirements. Coordinate work on-site to ensure the compliance of construction with the drawings, specifications, budgets and deadlines Monitor work performance to ensure project rules, procedures, safety requirements, and budget are being followed. Monitoring project expenditures to meet construction budget. Monitoring of work scope progression to ensure alignment with established timelines and objectives Coordinate supervision of machinery, tools, and equipment usage. Coordinate site inspections to identify and resolve potential problems and challenges and work interference Manage day-to-day office and site administrative tasks. Support the growth and development of company culture and professionally represent Northland Properties. Performs other duties as required What are we looking for? 2-5 years of related work experience in construction or a combination of work experience and relevant education (post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, or Construction Management) will be a strong asset. Experience in price negotiation will be an asset. High-level organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and Word. Great interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented, versatile, and flexible, with excellent creative and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrates a positive attitude, with good initiative and a strong work ethic. What do you get?
