We are hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant at our East Hill Centre location in Red Deer, AB. You will be responsible for: Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests. Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer. Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections. Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies. Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist. You have: Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience. A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude. The Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for processing prescriptions, managing patient data, and handling inventory tasks such as ordering and stock maintenance. They also ensure compliance with operational procedures and communicate essential billing and allergy information to the pharmacist.

Candidates must have completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or possess at least two years of dispensary experience. Strong communication skills, a positive work ethic, and proficiency with pharmacy software are required.
