Posting Number: T7-4054750 - Round 1 Description: Music Teacher - Grade K-6 Location: Isabella Dicken Elementary School, Fernie, BC Contract Type: Part-time Temporary (0.40 FTE) Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $28,156 to $47,674, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting. Job Summary Music Teacher - Grade K-6 0.40 FTE temporary contract, starting September 8, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to October 16, 2026, or return of the incumbent. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Music Education at the Elementary level. This position will be scheduled for two days per week, with the specific workdays still to be determined. The FTE is subject to change once the schedule is confirmed. The Music Teacher will provide music instruction to students in grades K-6 at Isabella Dicken Elementary School. The role involves teaching on-site for two days per week on a temporary contract basis.

Applicants must possess a degree or formal training and teaching experience in Music Education at the elementary level. BC Teacher Certification is preferred.
