*Company Overview* Securtac Protection Services is a licensed security provider providing reputable security services for over 15 years. *Job Overview* *- Be available to work various shift times such as Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, 4pm to midnight and midnight to 8am (overnight). Weekends will include 12 hour shifts. * - Vigilant and proactive Security Guard to uphold safety standards across our clients? site and secured areas. - Responsible for monitoring premises, control access points, and conduct surveillance to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry. -Your keen eye and quick response will be vital in maintaining a secure environment. *Duties* * Monitor designated areas through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches * Control access for employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by verifying credentials and issuing passes * Conduct regular patrols of the site to ensure perimeter integrity and identify potential hazards or security risks * Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary * Maintain detailed logs of all security activities, incidents, and access records for accountability and reporting purposes * Enforce site policies related to access control and safety protocols * Assist in conducting investigations related to security breaches or thefts as needed *Qualifications* * Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable * Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, and loss prevention strategies * Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism * Excellent observational skills with a focus on detail-oriented reporting * Valid Ontario security license * Physical ability to stand, walk, sit and patrol as necessary * Must have skills necessary to use a computer and Microsoft programs Join our team to help safeguard valuable assets while providing exceptional security services.
