Light Duty Commercial Cleaner

Job Description Light Duty Cleaner Position available in Burlington office building. Evening light duty cleaning focus on floor cleaning. Work Days: Monday to Friday - 2 hours per shift, starting after 5:00 pm This office cleaning position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift/move heavy objects (up to 25 lb), standing, bending, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. We are seeking serious, long term minded employees to join our growing Cleaning Company. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The following is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities of this job. The tasks and the time spent performing each task may vary as business needs require. ServiceMaster Clean maintains the right to modify job duties and responsibilities at its discretion. General dusting, vacuuming, mopping Emptying garbage and recycling Wet cleaning horizontal surfaces Spot Cleaning of walls and glass Sanitizing touchpoints Additional tasks as requested Establish positive rapport with clients when possible Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client Conduct all work in accordance with company safety and other workplace policies QUALIFICATIONS Communicate in English both written and verbally Strong attention to detail Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings Works well independently and in a team environment Be able to work consistent weekend shifts A vehicle to commute to work locations Have a criminal record check Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is beneficial WORKING CONDITIONS There is a low risk of exposure to adverse working conditions. However, at this time with the COVID 19 Pandemic extra cleaning precautions are taken and required.

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing touchpoints in an office environment. Ensure all tasks are completed according to company safety policies while maintaining a positive rapport with clients.

Candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and performing repetitive tasks like bending and standing. Strong English communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team are required.
