Position Overview Under the supervision of the Manager of Therapeutic Services and/or a designated Clinical Service Leader (CSL), the Data Entry Clerk is responsible for performing all assigned computer data entry and inputting related to Therapeutic Services workload measurements system. This includes input of direct patient care data, non-patient care data into excel spreadsheets, as well as verifying reports and distributing same. Experience Six months of related experience required. Experience in Microsoft Office required, Excel specific knowledge or training an asset. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications And Skills Ability to effectively type at a minimum of 40 wpm required. Medical terminology course an asset. Mathematical aptitude an asset. Demonstrates initiative and organizational skills; confidentiality required. Demonstrated ability to read, write legibly, follow oral and written instructions; ability to work with minimal supervision required. Demonstrated ability to maintain records and reports required. Ability to complete the position on a regular basis. Physical Requirements Not Applicable This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement. This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment. Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT. The WRHA legal entity includes Churchill Health Centre, Deer Lodge Centre, Golden West Centennial Lodge, Grace Hospital, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Pan Am Clinic, Prairie Crocus Manor, River Park Gardens, Victoria General Hospital, WRHA corporate programs, and WRHA community health services.
