Sowmithra Kumar

As a computer science student, I have a passion for creating innovative solutions and applying my skills to real-world problems. With experience in programming languages such as Java, PHP, React, HTML, and more, as well as proficiency in database management and web development, I am well-equipped to tackle complex development projects. Throughout my coursework at SAIT and the University of Calgary, I have gained a solid foundation in software development principles and best practices, including agile development methodologies, designing user interfaces, and unit testing. During my Capstone, I gained experience collaborating with a team of developers to develop a fully functional website for an Airdrie-based barbershop. I developed the skills needed to act in a leadership role and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. I am currently seeking opportunities to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where I can strengthen my skills as a software developer.
