About Spadoni's Spadoni's Furniture and Appliances is a fourth-generation, family-owned retailer serving Sault Ste. Marie and Northern Ontario since 1918. From our 40,000 sq. ft. showroom at 185 James Street, we help customers furnish their homes with furniture, appliances, mattresses, rugs and home decor. The opportunity We are looking for a friendly, motivated Sales Associate to join our local team. This is an on-site position, and we are open to both full-time and part-time applicants. What you'll do - Welcome customers and learn about their needs, preferences and budget. - Recommend furniture, appliances, mattresses and home products with confidence and care. - Explain product features, options, pricing, financing and delivery services. - Prepare quotes, process sales and follow up with customers. - Keep product knowledge current and help maintain an organized, inviting showroom. - Work closely with the sales, delivery and office teams to create a smooth customer experience. What we're looking for - Strong customer service, listening and communication skills. - A friendly, dependable and professional approach. - Confidence learning about a wide range of products and explaining them clearly. - Basic computer, math and point-of-sale skills. - Good organization and follow-through. - Availability during retail hours, including some weekends. - Previous retail, furniture, appliance or sales experience is an asset, but not required. The Sales Associate will welcome customers, recommend home products based on their needs, and explain pricing and financing options. They are also responsible for processing sales, preparing quotes, and maintaining an organized showroom.

Candidates should possess strong communication and customer service skills along with basic computer and math proficiency. Previous retail or sales experience is considered an asset but is not required.
