Software Engineer

Intermediate Software Developer Stelvio are working with a client looking for an Intermediate Software Developer to join an established technology tea m.You’ll be joining a business that develops technology-led solutions for complex, real-world environments. Working alongside senior developers, architects, project managers, and wider cross-functional teams, you’ll help design, develop, and maintain high-quality software application s.This is a hands-on development role where you’ll contribute across the software lifecycle, from technical design and development through to code reviews, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvement s. In this role, you w ill:Design, develop, test, and debug software applications in line with project requireme nts.Build efficient, maintainable, and reusable code in collaboration with other develop ers.Contribute to technical design discussions and software architect ure.Create and maintain technical documentat ion.Participate in code reviews to support high coding standards and software qual ity.Provide constructive technical feedback to other team memb ers.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and technical iss ues.Maintain and update existing software applicati ons.Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, priorities, and delivery timeli nes.Communicate progress clearly and escalate issues where requi red.Keep up to date with emerging technologies and relevant industry developme nts.Continue developing your technical knowledge and capabilit ies.Qualificat ions A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related f ield.3+ years of software development experi ence.Full-stack development experience across front-end and back-end technolo gies.Proficiency in languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaSc ript.Experience with web development frameworks and technologies such as React, Angular, or Nod e.js.Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL database technolo gies.Strong analytical and problem-solving sk ills.Excellent communication and teamwork sk ills.The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environ ment. Preferred exper ience:Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Familiarity with Agile development methodol ogies.Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance princ iples.
