Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 1 to less than 7 months Tasks Keep records of the quantities of food used Package take-out food Serve customers at counters or buffet tables Stock refrigerators and salad bars Take customers' orders Receive payments from customers Food preparation Tabulate total payment for goods or services required Greet customers Maintain clean and safe work environment Handle cash transactions Support for newcomers and refugees Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees Does not require Canadian work experience Support for youths Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth Support for Veterans Offers flexible onboarding options to allow Veterans to gradually adapt to the civilian workplace (for example: gradually increasing hours and responsibilities, etc.) Support for mature workers Offers phased retirement options that allow mature workers to gradually reduce their workload (for example: flexible or reduced work hours, part time employment, project-based or seasonal work, etc.) Supports for visible minorities Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

The attendant is responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, and processing payments at the counter. They also handle food preparation, packaging take-out orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position. Candidates should have between 1 month and 7 months of relevant experience.
