Purpose The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and management of day and night warehouse operations. This role oversees all aspects of warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control, while driving operational excellence, ensuring safety compliance, and maximizing efficiency. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment, receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity, reduce costs, and minimize errors. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement. Team Leadership & Management: Lead and manage a team of warehouse supervisors and associates. Conduct performance reviews, address employee concerns, and identify opportunities for team development. Foster a safe and productive work environment for all team members. Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including OSHA regulations, and company safety policies. Conduct safety inspections, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions. Promote a strong safety culture within the warehouse. Technology & Innovation: Evaluate and implement new technologies and warehouse management systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. Leverage data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational decisions. Budget & Resource Management: Contribute to the development and management of the warehouse budget. Skills Leadership & Management: Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a high-performing team. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges. Certifications Education Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree Experience 7+ years of experience, of which at least 2 leading a team Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Travel Requirements 0-25%
