We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to play an important role in strengthening financial visibility, improving margin insights, and supporting key operational decision-making across the business. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams while contributing to several impactful initiatives, including the implementation of a new ERP platform and the transition to a standard full costing model. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys digging into data, understanding operational drivers, and translating financial insights into actionable recommendations for leadership. The role: Financial Analysis & Business Insights Analyze financial performance across products, customers, and revenue streams to identify key margin drivers and improvement opportunities Deliver clear variance analysis and performance insights to support leadership decision-making Support monthly financial reporting and provide meaningful commentary on results Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Costing & Margin Visibility Support the implementation of a standard full costing model Analyze product costs, manufacturing performance, and BOM variances Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve cost accuracy and margin visibility Develop reporting and analysis to better understand segment-level profitability ERP Implementation & Process Improvement Support the transition to a new Food & Beverage ERP system Participate in system testing, data validation, and process improvements Help improve financial reporting capabilities and data quality Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and enhance financial insights Cross-Functional Business Partnership Work closely with teams across Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial functions Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights Support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives for Finance leadership Governance & Controls Maintain strong financial processes and ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and internal controls Support documentation and financial reporting processes related to audits and compliance Ad-hoc Financial Analysis: Prepare reports and analysis for special projects Provide ad-hoc support for decision-making processes and strategic planning. You offer: Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA designation (or actively pursuing) preferred Experience: 2–4+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment. Exposure to cost accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing profitability/margin analysis. Experience working with ERP systems and large data sets Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills Skills: Advanced in Microsoft Office Powerpoint and Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, and financial modeling). Knowledge of accounting principles in a manufacturing setting. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, balance priorities, and work within tight deadlines Must be able to work in a team environment, working towards a common goal Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Ability to translate financial data into business insights Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
