Job Description Reporting to the Banquet Manager and Supervisor, the Banquet Server will be responsible for ensuring guest and associate satisfaction while maintaining hotel standards. What you will be doing as a Banquet Server: Provide exceptional customer service to guests during banquet and catering events; Set up and teardown banquet rooms according to event specifications and hotel standards; Serve food and beverages in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner; Ensure tables, buffet stations, and service areas are maintained throughout events; Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests and concerns; Work collaboratively with the Banquet Team, Kitchen Team, and Event Coordinators to ensure successful event execution; Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health and safety procedures; Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times; Review the Banquet Event Order (BEO) prior to each event to understand event requirements, timelines, room setup, menu details, guest counts, and any special requests, including dietary restrictions, allergies, and VIP accommodations; Such other similar or related duties may be required from time to time. Your experience and skills include: Must have a valid Serve Right Certificate (or willingness to obtain); Previous banquet, catering, restaurant, or hotel experience is considered an asset; Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail; Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach; Ability to lift, carry, and move banquet equipment and stand for extended periods; Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A valid Serve Right Certificate is required, and previous experience in hospitality or catering is considered an asset.
