Whether you’re sampling an incredible variety of raw bar delicacies or tucking into a piping hot Seafood Hodge Podge, Drift’s dishes aim to deliver equal parts comfort and surprise. Job Description Under the direction of the General Manager, we are looking for a Server at Drift Salon & Bar who will be accountable for maintaining strong knowledge about all food and beverage offerings in the restaurant. What you will be doing as a Server: Welcoming each guest warmly and with enthusiasm, always creating an exceptional first impression; Enthusiastically inform guests about our offerings and share your menu knowledge to make the best recommendations; Accurately and precisely entering information into the pos system ensuring communications are clear for the BOH team; Provide recommendations and create a positive guest experience; Responding promptly and courteously to any guest request or concerns; Going above and beyond for special requests or celebrations and taking food preferences and guest allergies or dietary restrictions seriously; Maintain a clean section and monitor food quality to ensure all items are held to freehand presentation standards; Keenly following all food safety standards and systems; Such other related duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time. The person we are looking for has: A valid Serve Right Certification; At least 2 years serving experience in a similar environment; The ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum, staying calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment; Excellent observation skills & high attention to detail, offering a helping hand to all guests whenever needed, before they even need to ask; Passion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer service; Strong communication skills.
