Overview The Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing our guests with an extraordinary experience from reservation through to checkout. In this role, accuracy and accountability are key. You are empowered to exceed guest expectations. You will achieve excellence by making business decisions that are focused on upholding the highest standards in guest service. Responsibilities Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner. Check guests in, issue room keys, provide information on Resort facilities and room location. Respond to guests questions, complaints, and requests ensuring efficient and personalized guest service. Ensure safety and confidentiality of our owners, guests and employees. Create and maintain a positive and productive atmosphere at the front desk; have good working relationships with managers and associates in other departments. Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service. Sell, process, and maintain all reservation records using Resort selling strategies. Ensure the work area is clean, neat, and well organized. Be a â sales person by active promotion of property facilities and company/property specific promotions in order to contribute to overall profitability. Requirements Experience in either a guest or customer focused environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Committed to delivering the highest level of guest service and satisfaction. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work alone and as part of a team. Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel & Power Point. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Qualified applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, possess a valid work or study permit that allows the candidate to fulfill the requirements of the role.
