As a Flagger, you'll play a critical role in supporting construction and infrastructure projects across various locations, spending much of your time on the road and working in different communities. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy travel, working outdoors, and being part of a team that keeps projects moving safely and efficiently. Extensive travel, including overnight stays and extended periods away from home, is a key part of this role. You'll work in dynamic environments, set up and manage traffic control zones, direct traffic using approved signage, and interact professionally with the public while ensuring compliance with TCP Book 7 standards and company safety requirements. The position offers the opportunity to experience new places, work on diverse projects, and build a career that combines adventure, teamwork, and responsibility. Successful candidates are reliable, adaptable, safety-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in various weather and construction conditions. Flexibility to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and out-of-town assignments is essential. Previous construction experience, TCP Book 7 certification, and a valid driver's licence are considered assets, but training opportunities may be available for motivated candidates eager to start a rewarding career on the road. Responsibilities Direct and control traffic using approved signage Set up and takedown work zones Communicate with the general public in a professional manner Comply with corporate Health and Safety policies Ensure adherence to TCP Book 7 Requirements Other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous construction experience will be considered an asset TCP Book 7 certification or willingness to attend training High school diploma or equivalent diploma will be considered an asset Ability to cope with regular hazards in a construction environment – inclement weather, dust, noise etc. Ability to sit, stand or drive more than 90 minutes per day Ability to perform effective verbal and written instructions Punctual and reliable Effective team player A valid driver’s licence will be considered an asset Willingness to work extended hours, nights and weekends as required Ability and willingness to work out of town for extended periods of time, as required Compensation Data Targeting a starting rate of $22 - $24/hr Culture At Miller, we want every employee to feel connected, where creativity and innovation thrive, and your contributions make a real impact.
