Rotation/Shifts Days, evenings and nights, including weekends, 8 and 10 hour shifts. For information purposes only - The Hospital reserves the right to change. Basic Requirements Baccalaureate or Diploma from an accredited institution majoring in health sciences or a related discipline; Certified as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) or willing to obtain registration within 18 months; (successful candidates who are uncertified will be at 95% of Step 1 until registration is complete). Certified as a Health Care Professional in a field recognized by the board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT); Good knowledge of electrodiagnostic instrumentation and equipment; Knowledge of polysomnographic equipment and supplies; Experience working with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications; Sound knowledge of human anatomy, neuroanatomy, physiology and basic electronics; Eligible for Certification in CPR and/or First Aid; Good written and verbal communication skills; Good interpersonal skills; Good problem solving skills; Must be eligible to work in Canada.
